Cindy Montstream is the Vice President of Training at Ortronics, Inc., and has a combined 16 years of teaching technical subjects and working in the telecommunications industry. She has her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and her Masters of Technology Education. Cindy began working for Ortronics in 1997 as an Engineer and became part of the training program in 1999. She is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and Network Transport Specialist (NTS). She has been involved with related standards committees including TIA and IEEE.

Lylette Macdonald has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. She owned her own manufacturer rep company until coming to work for Ortronics as a Regional Manager in 1991. In both capacities she assisted end users, contractors and consultants with the creation of communications design specifications and provided training on installation practices, products and structured cabling applications. Lylette also served as a National Account Manager and was involved with the TIA standards committee. She is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and currently helps create and host live or web-based training programs for Ortronics certified installers, distributors and Legrand North America sales teams.

Jay Paul Myers, RCDD, is a Training Specialist for Ortronics/Legrand, and has been in the communications cabling industry since 1976. He has served as the Editor of the TR-42.6 committee which produced the ANSI/TIA/EIA-606-A Administration Standard for Commercial Telecommunications Infrastructure and as Secretary of TR-42.8, the TIA/EIA-568 Optical Fiber committee. He has served as Presenter at the Las Vegas BICSI Conference and has written several articles for industry publications.

Julie McNeill has been employed with Ortronics since August 1997 as a Certification Program Administrator. She developed the database currently used to track the status of all Ortronics Certified Installers and Certified Design Engineers. Julie administers the design/build incentive and the extended warranties portion of the Certified Installer Program. She is also involved in bringing new installers on-board, supporting our reps in the field, and supporting our international installers and representatives.

Toni Wells has been employed with Ortronics since December 1998 as a Certification Program Administrator. She has worked in the Training Department managing and administering the Certification Program for over 8 years, including the rebate, incentive and recertification program. Toni also manages the National Account’s and Contractor on-line program. Prior to working for Ortronics, she has a twenty year background in finance and mortgage lending.
